BIAFRA:[COURT UPDATE]: COURT HEARS BAIL APPLICATION OF DETAINED IPOB ACTIVISTS
…WHEREABOUTS OF THE IPOB LEADER, NNAMDI KANU, AND ITS OBSCURITY
March 28, 2018.
As we make furtherance to the Federal High Court, Abuja, today, being the allotted day for the sureties of Nnamdi Kanu to “present their cases on his whereabouts”. Meanwhile, the presiding Judge, Justice Binta Nyako has failed to absorb the empiricism of ‘Nemo dat quod non habet, literally meaning “no one gives what he doesn’t have”.
Bring to mind that Nnamdi Kanu was granted bail, albeit “extraneously,” on April 25, 2017, vis-á-vis the ruling of Justice Binta Nyako at the Federal High Court in Abuja. Subsequently, the bail was breached when the Nigerian army raided his home (on September 14, 2017), in the mien of Operation Python Dance, and “made away with him”.
Ensuing the haggard invasion into the homestead of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB – by the Nigerian army – his whereabouts are yet unknown to the general public. Thereupon, we are “in clouds” whether or not he is alive.
Conversely, Justice Binta Nyako, following her ruling on February 20, 2018, summoned the sureties of Nnamdi Kanu [leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra] to appear in court today (March 28, 2018) and account for the whereabouts of their “principal,” Nnamdi Kanu.
Also, the IPOB legal team led by Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor had filed a bail application which has been slated for hearing today owing to the aftermath of the amended charges, and plea of “not guilty” by the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th defendants.
