How I discovered my husband’s secret wife, child on Facebook – Spouse

Published

on

The marriage between Mr Sunday Okafor and his wife, Adetola, was dissolved by an Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Wednesday.

Adetola, 40, had approached the court to end her 13-year-old union over the husband’s unfaithfulness.

She said: “My husband has been travelling to his village in the name of visiting his elder brother, not knowing that he had married an Igbo woman because I am Yoruba.

“I got to know about his secret marriage when he forgot his wallet at home, I opened it and found several bank deposit slips he used to send money to her.

“I searched for her name on the Facebook and I found several pictures of the woman, my husband with their baby displayed on her Facebook page.

“When I showed my husband the pictures, he did not deny it. My husband has rented an apartment for his new wife very close to our house,” she told the court.

The mother of three also described her husband as an ingrate, saying she married him 13 years ago when he had no job and he is still jobless.

“I have been paying our rent and the children’s school fees since the inception of our marriage.

“I bought phones and clothes for him; I also gave him money to take care of himself but he has rewarded my good deeds by marrying another woman,” Adetola also said.

The estranged husband, Sunday, claimed that his wife pushed him into adultery.

He said: “My wife’s behaviour pushed me into finding solace in another woman.

“She does not give me happiness, she is so arrogant and does not respect me because she is the one paying our rent and the children’s school fees.

“I was a musical director, she ruined my business because she used to accuse me of dating the women who come to my studio, so they stopped coming and the business crumbled.

“I can’t pick a call in her presence, she will say I am talking to a woman.”

President of the court, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, said it was obvious that the estranged couple were tired of the marriage and all efforts to reconcile them had failed.

“Since both parties consented to the dissolution of their marriage, this court has no choice than to dissolve it.

“The court pronounce the marriage between Mrs Adetola Okafor and Mr Sunday Okafor dissolved today, both parties henceforth cease to be husband and wife.

“Both are free to go their separate ways without any hindrance or molestation,” Omilola ruled.

IPOB PRINCIPAL OFFICER MURDERED BY FULANI KILLER HERDSMEN IN MGBIDI, IMO STATE, BIAFRALAND

Published

on

It can reliably be confirmed that the marauding Fulani killer herdsmen on Monday 29th July 2019, brutally murdered a principal officer with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnadi Okereke. Before his death, the deceased served the IPOB in his capacity as the Treasurer in Egwe family unit, Egwe in Ugwuta local government area of Imo State.

Family Writers Press Intelligence Unit gathered that Mazi Nnadi Okereke was killed on his way back from work opposite Zenith road in Mgbidi by the murderous Islamic terrorists at about 4:00pm. It should be noted that early last week, two women were raped by the same Fulani herdsmen who have their base within Mgbidi/Egwe environs. Presently, both indigenes and non indigenes around the areas are living in palpable fear of the invading Fulani Islamic terrorists.

We therefore use this medium to call on Biafrans whose loved ones reside within those vicinities to take pre-cautionary measures.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Wednesday said South eastern states would not succumb to the demand for land for implementation of Ruga settlement programme, Igbere TV reports.

The group said it was ready for face the youth wing of Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) after the expiration of its 30- day ultimatum.

In a statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, IPOB insisted on supporting ranching business but in their private lands, not through forcing people to release their ancestral land to anybody.

The group advised the federal government and those behind the plan to retrace their steps before it turned uncontrollable and claim more innocent lives.

The statement partly reads: “IPOB is a peaceful movement and must remain so but cannot allow anybody to trample on us by forcing our people to release their ancestral land to them.

“We are aware that cattle business remains personal business in Nigeria and cannot change today.

“The community’s ancestral lands are gifts from the God, handed over to us to dwell, on which must not be taken over under any guise by the government or Fulani.

“We challenge Fulani Islamists terrorists including their Arewa youths to do their worst after the expiration of the so-called 30 days ultimatum as was widely reported in every national and international media.

“We are anxiously and eagerly waiting for them in whatever shape they may want it.”

Biafra: Nnamdi Kanu Reacts To FG’s Suspension Of Ruga, Reveals Next Move

Published

The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has hailed the group for the suspension of the proposed Ruga settlements for herders by the Nigerian government.

Kanu made the commendation on Wednesday while reacting to the decision of the Federal Government to put on hold its proposed Ruga settlements which has raised dust in different corners of the country.

He noted that it was IPOB that took a principled stand and fired the first salvo against the Ruga initiative which he referred to as “evident Fulanization agenda”.

The IPOB leader said that the referendum on Biafra restoration is next on the group’s agenda.

He said: “As Jubril/the Cabal bows to pressure and SUSPEND implementation of their #RUGA, let me salute #IPOB worldwide which took a principled stand and fired the FIRST salvo against this evident Fulanization agenda. Better yet, RUGA or not, a #referendum on Biafra restoration is NEXT.”

President Muhammadu Buhari is said to have suspended the idea of establishing the Ruga settlements pending further notice.

The Publisher of Sahara Reporters and candidate of the African Action Congress in the 2019 general elections on Tuesday met with the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in New York, United States of America.

Ndigbo News gathered that both of them met in New York to strategize on what they describe as injustice in Nigeria.

The duo made their position known on Tuesday in New York after a series of closed door meetings.

In a Facebook live session to address the public, Sowore said, “We met to talk about things we’ve both been passionate about but on a different plane and we respect those boundaries but we’ve had very useful conversations today so that everybody that is aspiring for a fair and just society can come together and rise up now and bring an end to the sorrow and suffering and the domination and the oppression that has become almost synonymous with our generation and our genes in Nigeria.

“Those of you out there who think we have big differences and that we can’t talk, know that when people have revolutionary minds, these minds meet and bodies eventually meet.”

On his part, the IPOB leader hailed the meeting describing it as liberation for those trapped in the contraption called Nigeria.

Kanu said, “I met with my good friend Sowore and it has yielded today a confirmation that people can come together.

“There isn’t much of a difference for what we are fighting for because we are fighting for justice. We know and hope that the people that found themselves today trapped in that contraption called Nigeria will one day be free and it takes people to do it.

“I doubt it comes from heaven and we have to do it, we have decided to do it and it must be done.”

There’ll Be Fire If Miyetti Allah Ventures Into Igboland – Nnamdi Kanu

Published

on

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has described as shameful and shocking the demand of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN) to be allowed to establish vigilante group in Igboland, saying that will amount to a robber issuing notice of attack and one keeping quiet.

In a first ever press statement he signed, Kanu, who described Fulani cattle herdsmen as “Fulani army of darkness,” warned governors of the South East to await their calamitous end if ever such request is given a second thought.

This is as Ohanaeze Ndigbo has vehemently opposed any attempt by MACBAN to establish any form of vigilante group in Igboland.

Describing Fulani herdsmen as “the fourth most deadly terror group in the world,” Kanu shed tears that MACBAN was given audience at all in South East Governors’ meeting.

Part of his press statement read: “I condemn in totality, both in letter and spirit the underhand agreement between South East Governors and Fulani terrorists that led to the idiotic call by Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association (MACBAN), the fourth most deadly terror group in the world, for the establishment of Fulani terrorist vigilante groups in Igboland Biafra.

“Without much ado, I wish to state as follows: that it is extremely shocking and shameful that, at a time when Fulani cattle herders have turned to terrorists and ravaging the North, Middle Belt and Yorubaland, Southeast Governors allowed Miyetti Allah to get away with such criminal demand on our soil.

“It’s akin to telling someone in advance that you are coming to rob his house and he allowed you to just walk away, while pleading with you that you should reconsider.

“Instead of ordering their immediate arrest on the spot for daring to so brazenly reveal their criminal intention to invade Igboland, the spineless cowards that pass for South-East governors appear to want to accommodate their demands.

“No doubt as payback for being rigged back into power by Abba Kyari-led Fulani cabal that run the government of Nigeria.”

Kanu said that Miyetti Allah, a mere cattle trading association, that later turned into a militant terrorist organisation is now openly threatening to conquer Igboland with the help of Igbo governors.

He feared that “the weak and rambling response of Governor Dave Umahi to the demand” may be a tactical approval of the request and warned that IPOB will not tolerate the establishment of any Fulani militia, masquerading as vigilantes, in Southeast or anywhere else in Biafraland.

He lamented that it was IPOB’s intention to set up vigilante services, otherwise known as Biafran Security Services (BSS) that was used as the immediate excuse by the same Southeast Governors to proscribe IPOB, and proceeded to invite the Federal Government to declare IPOB a terrorist organisation, and then launched Operation Python Dance that claimed scores of innocent lives.

He said should the Fulani herdsmen venture into Igboland whether with the permission of Eastern governors or not, they will meet there waterloo.

Also, in a statement through Emeka Atama, the Media Adviser to its President General, Nnia Nwodo, Ohanaeze vowed to resist any attempt by Miyetti Allah to establish vigilance group in the South East.

Ohanaeze stated: “These people (Miyetti Allah) have ravaged our farms, raped our women and slaughtered their husbands.

“As at today they technically enjoy immunity from arrest and prosecution. They freely display AK47 rifles not permitted to be used by civilians. Extending this measure to them will turn them into an army of occupation and invite unavoidable confrontations with our Youth,” Ohanaeze stated.

Ohanaeze therefore warned that it would resist such a policy with every might available to them.
